Not only are A&W's in Slave Lake, there are two of them, spotless, well-run hosting bastions of all the good things that ever happen in a small town, but these two locations are some of the BEST places to eat I have ever been to. My wife and I stopped by yesterday to grab a bite to eat late in the day after a real long day, at A&W on Main, and my wife says, "hey you should try the new vegetable burger". Now, I am a definite meat-a-saurus, and so rolling my eyes at her and groaning "yeeeaah right!" I had to agree since recommended highly I could stand to at least "try" something a bit healthier. Now to look at me you would KNOW I'm an authority on food, yeah, I'm a big guy, a foodie, cook amazing food people eat and say, "you should open your own restaurant" to, and I am going to tell you something... The new veggie burger, just blew my mind, and my tastebuds. Wow. I had to concede, that is the undisputed, BEST hamburger I have EVER eaten!! Bar none! Man, I hope you keep it around A&W!
